This Weekend:
Language Learning Database Workshop- Learn to use the library's step-by-step system for 21 languages:  Saturday at 1pm
	Crochet Workshop:  Sunday, September 18 at 2pm-  All you need is a willingness to try; the library will provide the rest.  We'll have hooks, yarn, and an instructor
Everyone Reads in Wells Branch:  Marley and Me: life and love with the world's worst dog by John Grogan Everyone reads is a new program at the library that encourages all patrons to read and discuss the same book.  We have copies for every reading level from preschool to adult.  More information is available at the Marley Page
	Free Family Movies: Sundays at 4pm in the Storytime Room October 9:  Beethoven November 13th:  Homeward Bound
Fitness Checklists Think you're 'fit'?  This fall, the library will offer a checklist on a different kind of 'fitness' each month.  Pick one up, and when you've completed at least ten items on the list, turn it in at the library for a chance to win a prize. 	Wine, Women & Words Book Club: Join the most established reading group at the library.   September 19th at 7pm: Endings by Barbara Bergin.  The group will meet at the community center this month to accommodate the author's visit.
	Needles Hooks and Books:  Sunday, October 9th at 2pm.  Bring your craft of choice and discuss    Frankenstein- Prodigal Son by Dean Koontz November 13th: The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield December 11th: The Christmas Train by David Baldacci January 8th: The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova February 12th:  Lamb, the Gospel According to Biff by Christopher Moore

Applications are currently being accepted for appointment to the Board of Trustees.  This rewarding role requires a time commitment for meetings, research, and maintaining a presence at the library.  Generally, meetings are once a month and less than 90 minutes.  Candidates with skills in fundraising, accounting, or advocacy would be particularly welcome.  Terms expire 11/2012 and 11/2013.  For more information:
