Board of Trustees

About the Trustees

Trustees meet at the library every 4-6 weeks. All meetings are posted and open to the public.  Agendas are posted in advance of the meetings and minutes for each meeting are posted once accepted by the Board.

The Board of Trustees is governed by a set of by-laws, which are reviewed annually.  Five trustees are elected for two-year terms to oversee the District. Trustees must live within District boundaries and be registered to vote in order to serve.  Elections are managed by Travis County, who set the polling locations.

Elections are held in November of each year.
