February is Love Your Library Month
Library news for January 28-February 6, 2011
The first draft of the State's budget proposal for 2012-13 shows a 99% decrease in state funding for local library aid programs . Contact your state representative and senator, the governor, and lieutenant governor and let them know this hurts our community! Write a letter to the editor about this issue! Come to the Capitol on Wednesday, February 16, and participate in Legislative Day — we’ll be gathering to let them know how much our libraries mean to our communities! |
