Special Programs this week include: Potluck Mystery Bookclub: Tamar Meyers on Thursday, July 12th at 7pm, Mr. Johnny & Sharon Concert on Friday, July 14th at 11:00am (registration is now open), and a Dewey Program on July 14th at 4pm.

Get A Clue:  Summer Reading

Program for all ages!

June 2- August 11, 2012

  • Pick up a reading log starting June 2nd, and start tracking how many pages you read throughout the summer.
  • Earn prizes at 500 and 1,000 pages. Turn in additional 1,000 page logs to enter in the grand prize raffles.

Computer Classes:  Registration is required at least 3 days in advance.  Space is limited.

  • One-on-One Tutoring (Saturdays by appointment)

  • 5pm Mystery Science:  Secret Message Banana: Write a hidden message on a banana skin and watch it appear.
  • 6pm Arts and Crafts: Painted Rock Animals– Paint a variety of animals on rocks.

  • 2pm Mystery Book Club - The 39 Clues
  • 7pm Potluck Mystery Bookclub: Tamar Myers

  • 10am Baby Bookworms Storytime (0-18 mos)
  • 10:45 Toddler Storytime (18-36 mos)
  • 11:30 Preschool Storytime (3-5 yrs)

Saturday, July 14th: 

  • 11am Mr Johnny & Sharon Concert (register at the kids desk)
  • 12pm Bow Wow Reading Dogs: One-on-one reading practice with therapy dogs.
  • 4pm Everyone Reads Dewey Program: A special storytime about pets in the library, followed by a pet drawing session.
Sunday, July 15th:
  • 2pm Needles, Hooks & Books: Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Monday, July 16th:

  • 7pm Friends of the Library general membership meeting (in the storytime room).
