1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Take the challenge to read 1,000 books with your child from birth to Kindergarten! To participate, visit the library's children's desk to pick up a reading packet and to get more information.
Weekly Programs for Kids & Teens
Baby Bookworms Storytime:
Mondays at 10:30am: 0-18 months
Mondays at 11:15am: 12-24 months
Interactive storytimes for babies and toddlers who aren't quite ready for a traditional storytime. We explore songs and stories, then have social play time.

1st & 3rd Mondays 4:00-5:00pm
3rd Mondays 5:00-6:00pm Open DIY Kids Workshop
Ages 5 and up can learn new skills and experiment with materials.
LEGO LAB (ages 5+)
2nd, 4th & 5th Mondays 4:00-5:00pm
LEGO activities and free play for ages 5 and up.
Storytime & Craft: Tuesdays at 6:30pm
A storytime followed by a simple craft activity for families with kids of all ages. Seating is limited, tickets are available at the kids desk 30 minutes prior to program. All ages.
Arts & Crafts: Wednesdays at 6:00pm
Create one-of-a-kind artistic creations with Miss Dianne. Ages 8+ or with an adult. Seating is limited, tickets are available at the kids desk starting at 5:30pm.

Toddler & Preschool Storytimes:
Fridays at 10:30am: Toddlers 18-36 months
Fridays at 11:15am: Preschoolers 3-6 years
Traditional storytimes, intended for toddlers and preschoolers who can sit quietly and listen to 2-3 picture books.
Storytime & Craft (all ages): Saturdays at 11:00am
A weekend storytime followed by a craft with Miss Linda for children of all ages to enjoy.
Read with Ella, the Bow Wow Reading Dog: Saturdays at 12:00pm
Kids can practice reading aloud to Ella, the library's reading therapy dog. Reading sessions are on a first-come basis.
