2020 Call for Volunteers

The Board of Directors of Wells Branch Community Library is recruiting volunteers interested in serving on work groups or committees in the coming year.  If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to make a difference in our already-fantastic library, we’d love to hear from you.

We expect there will be opportunities to be involved in ad hoc project-based work groups, long-range planning or development work groups, diversity and inclusion work groups, and others that may be created to serve as the year progresses.  To that end, we’re hoping to create a list of volunteers willing to serve on our committees and work groups.

Work groups will be created by the board and will usually comprise board members, community members, and library staff.  The ideal workgroup will reflect the diversity of lives and experiences of our neighbors and our library community.

A group may complete their work mission with a few focused meetings or serve over a longer time, depending on the focus and needs of the group.  You’ll be invited to join a group, not assigned to one, so you can say yes only to one that fits your interest or schedule availability.

To communicate your interest to the board, please complete this short contact and interest form.
