Arts & Crafts@ the Library A special program
for kids 8+, parents and families to do a craft
each week. First come first served on projects.
The group meets on Wednesdays at 6pm. for info

May 7 Breathing Balloons! Learn how hot and cold water makes a balloon breath like lungs!

May 14 Wash Your Hands! Do you really know why mom always tells you to wash your hands? Learn how soap breaks up grease and oil!

May 21 Color-Changing Pennies! “Tired of those brown pennies? How about green ones!” Learn how to make pennies go green with envy!

May 28 Freeze History with a Fossil! Dinosaurs can’t have all the fun! Let’s make our own fossil to explore.

The library now has student software to help with home work at the library.

SUMMER MINI-CAMPS!!

Beat the heat and join the library for an exciting summer.  Once again, we'll be offering mini-camps for ages 8-12.  Camps will be Monday to Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. Each session is $24 per child and registration begins Thursday, May 1st at the children's librarian's desk. Come early as each mini camp session is limited to 20 children.

KidzArt of Austin at the Wells Branch Library!     KidzArt® is a creative, drawing based art enrichment program for children of all ages.
