It's Pet Month at the Library! Enter our Pet Photo Contest to win a gift card.
- Bring a photo of your pet (3x5 inches)to the library
- Write your name and contact information on the back of the photo
- Submit the photo to the librarian at the circulation desk between May 1 and May 30 for a chance to win.
We are looking at new subscription databases to add. Possibilities include:
- Mango Languages- an online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills in dozens of languages
- Learning Express Library- offers the practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, and information you need to achieve the results you want—at school, at work, or in life including practice exams for the SAT, GED, GRE and TOEFFEL
- Ebsco Hobbies and Crafts- how to instructions, videos, and more for almost every possibly hobby
- Ebsco Home Improvement Reference Center- the definitive online tool for home improvement assistance from remodeling to decorating, maintenance to electric.
If any of these sound especially good (or especially bad) to you, or if you'd like to suggest another database, please send your thoughts to the library director.
The library will be closed on Monday, May 31 for Memorial Day.
