We will be focusing our programs January through March on fitness, health, and the environment.  The book for this series is Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan.  We have many copies available in both the adult and youth version.  Get more information at our Omnivore's Dilemma Page.

Programs Include:

  • Healthy Living Seminar- January 14 at 11am:  Join Tara Fisher Munoz of Vida Green Consultants to discuss how what’s good for the environment is good for you, too.  Get tips on everything from eating to cleaning.

  • Family Yoga- January 11 at 10:30am:  Join us for yoga that your whole family can enjoy! Kids of all ages can learn basic yoga poses from a Wells Branch Massage+Yoga instructor.
  • Movie and Discussion- January 12 at 7pm:  Super Size Me
  • Healthy Tips and Recipes- From the beginning of January until the end of March, we'll be collecting healthy living and eating tips and recipes from you.  Fill out a card at the circulation desk or email your entry to staff@wblibrary.org with 'TIPS' or 'RECIPE' in the subject line.  At the end of the program, we'll collect and distribute the combined wisdom of our patrons.
