Brown Santa

The Wells Branch Community Library will serve as a "Brown Santa" drop off location from November 17th thru mid December. The program provides assistance to families in Travis County primarily living outside the geographical city limits of Austin.  The requirements to be accepted for the program are that the household is at or below the minimum poverty guidelines.  If you'd like to help, bring the following to the library and place in the barrels. If your youth service group wants to help out and bring items to the library, that is great too. 

Brown Santa of Travis County needs:
Canned goods and other non-perishable items to include with a holiday dinner.

Special needs:
New toys* for Infants: 0-2 years of age.
Boys, ages 12-16: Wallets, electronics, "stuff" for teenagers.
Girls, ages 12-16: Hair dryers, curling irons, purses, wallets, electronics, "stuff" for teenagers.
