Wednesday Family Crafting Time from 6-7:15 pm: The WBCL is sponsoring a
multi-generational program for kids (over 8), teens, families (children under 8
with parent/adult), and adults of any age on Wednesdays. Generally,
there will be no fee (donations always accepted) but we will use only the
supplies that are available in our project box. Participants may wish to bring
extra items to use on their projects. |

A month of Earth Friendly Projects April 2 6pm Arts and Crafts Create a nifty bag—recycle an old one using fabric, paints, glitter, appliqués to make it your own—bring your own old fabric type bag any size
April 9 6pm Arts and Crafts Smashed can art-Create a wreath or wall
hanging from decorated smashed aluminum cans –can be wild or sweet April 23 6pm Arts and Crafts Make a sculpture from recycled trash- just like the Blanton artist! We will make a sculpture from every day “trash” items—bags of “junk” and gunk to stick it together April 30 6pm Arts and Crafts Butterfly houses- we’ll make butterfly houses to put in your garden and a couple for the butterfly garden at the library |

Getting ready for summer May 7 6pm Arts and Crafts - Paint a card for Mom – Make a whole card with a printed saying and everything in only 1 hour. Give this to any mom—neighbor, sister, friend, your mom. Class limit 20. May 14 6pm Arts and Crafts – Paint a garden pot – Use special paints and your own style from stamping to avante guard to bright to realistic. We will be using 6” pots. If you want larger or smaller, bring your own. All paint supplied. Pots cost $.50 each. Class limit 18. May 21 6pm Arts and Crafts - Decorate a multi-pocketed tote. These are designed for the garden but work great for the beach, the pool, the movies or any time you need to keep things in 3-4 pockets. Limit 18 Fee for tote $1 or BYO May 28 6pm Arts and Crafts – Koi – Let yourself go! Do a painting of a Koi in watercolor or pencils. Vibrant colors and easy too. Class limit 20. June 4 6pm Arts and Crafts –Rock critters for your garden – paint and decorate rock critters to showcase in your garden (window ledge) If you find a rock that “talks to you” and tells you who it is, bring it. I’ll have lots of plain ones, the glue, paint, and a few examples. Picture a frog with an umbrella! Class limit 18. |
