1998-2008

The Wells Branch Community Library was created on August 8, 1998. 

To celebrate 10 years of growth and service,

we’ll be hosting a number of special events, including:

§         Timeline display of the library’s growth

§         Window art from the community (reserve your window 7/20)

§         Special author reception with Scott Sutton on August 8th at 7pm

§         Book Fair at Barnes & Noble at La Frontera all weekend August 8th to 10th

§         A books to movie viewing of the WWW Book Club favorite, The Kite Runner on August 8th at 7pm

§         A free auto maintenance workshop for teens and adults on August 9th at 10am

§         Special programs for all ages

§         Birthday Carnival on August 9th from 11am to 1pm with cake and ice cream, games and prizes, a moonwalk and hula-hoop contest, book truck relays, and more!
